32 x 144 mm PAR Meranti, starting at R503.60
These are the smallest of our four stock sizes, and the ones that move fastest.
This selection goes from 32 x 144 x 3.0 to 38 x 144 x 6.0 metres. These smaller sizes are what most joiners reach for when working on window boards, shelving and general interior joinery where a clean, paintable face (without the bulk of a structural section) is required.
44 x 144 PAR Meranti, starting at R633.38
From 44 x 144 mm x 3.0m, you are looking at the right sizes for door and window frames. The added thickness allows the frame components to support hinges, locks, and weather stripping without flexing. Available lengths go up to 44×144 x 6.0 metres.
44 x 220 PAR Meranti, starting at R993.94
At 44 x 220 x 3.0, you get a wider face for jobs that need more coverage than a standard frame section. These are ideal for wider window surrounds, staircase stringers, and joinery where a narrower board would result in an unsightly join. 70 x 220 Meranti PAR, starting at R1,610.53
As the heaviest Meranti size we stock, you will find that the price reflects the scale of opportunity.
From 70 x 220 x 3.0 m Meranti PAR, you are looking at options that work best for heavy door frames and structural joinery that intends to carry a real load. At this size, Meranti PAR can take years of opening and closing without becoming loose or wearing down.
