08 Jun Fibre Cement Roof Sheeting
For more than 70 years, the building industry has favoured fiber cement roof sheets because they give designers and architects more freedom and flexibility to meet functional, aesthetic, and financial requirements.
Cement that has been reinforced with cellulose fibers to increase strength is called “fiber cement,” which is a composite material. The development of robust and long-lasting construction materials is made feasible by fiber cement when combined with a thoroughly thought-out production method. Today, fiber cement is regarded as a substance physically suited for building materials like cladding and roofing. It is mostly because of its purpose, effectiveness, and economic worth.

NOTE – OnlineBuilding.co.za disclaimer for Canadian Pattern and Profile B Fibre Cement Roofing sheets:
Compared to other conventional patterns, the pattern design is not as compelling. As a result, it must be installed carefully, moved carefully, and cannot be walked on. A pitch of at least 15 degrees is required, and a strong waterproofing roof paint is advised because the substance is cementitious (fibre cement), which means that if water pools on it or sits on it, it will seep through. There is no warranty included with the item.
