Description:

Screws are made from heat treated carbon steel, the screws are heat treated to give added strength. They are then electro plated with a clear or yellow zinc for better corrosion protection. This coating is not normally thick on cheaper methods of coating.

The zinc coating is vulnerable in marine and industrial environments.
